Ingredients

 

  1 medium carrot, cut into fine matches
 
  1 small daikon radish, cut into fine matches
 
  1 tablespoon (15 ml) of sugar
 
  2 teaspoons (30 ml) of salt
 
  1/4 cup (59 ml) rice vinegar
 
  1/4 cup (59 ml) of water
 
  3 strips of bacon, cut in half crosswise
 
  2 eggs
 
  1 banh mi bun (see note)
 
  2 tablespoons (30 ml) mayonnaise
 
  A few dashes Maggi seasoning
 
  1 long cucumber slice (cut along the entire length of the cucumber)
